I'm not receiving the OTP SMS
  • Check that you entered your phone number correctly, including the country code.
  • Wait up to 60 seconds — SMS delivery can be slow during network congestion — then tap "Resend OTP".
  • Make sure your phone has signal and SMS is not blocked by a spam filter or DND setting.
  • Still nothing after a few tries? Email us with your phone number and we'll investigate delivery.
My OTP says invalid or expired

Each OTP is valid for a short time and a single attempt. Request a fresh code and enter it promptly. Repeated failed attempts are rate-limited for security — if you're locked out, wait a few minutes and try again.

Your account

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you can't access the app, email hello@blyngo.org and we'll delete it for you after verifying it's your account.

How do I change my profile or notification settings?

Everything lives under Profile → Settings — edit your profile, manage privacy options, and control push notifications. You can also disable notifications from your phone's system settings.

Safety

How do I report a user or an activity?

Open the user's profile or the activity page and use the Report option. You can also block a user from their profile — they won't be able to contact you or see your activities. Reports are reviewed by our team; for urgent safety issues, contact local authorities first, then let us know at hello@blyngo.org.

Does Blyngo run background checks on hosts?

No. Verified badges mean a selfie matched the profile photo — nothing more. Treat activities like meeting anyone new: pick public places, share your plans with someone you trust, and trust your instincts.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel through your store account: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do refunds work?

Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple and Google under their refund policies — request one from your store purchase history. Blyngo cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly. Activity costs paid to hosts (cash/UPI) are between you and the host; Blyngo never handles that money.
